Bedding & Dust Ruffles — Bed Skirts, Euro Shams & Twin Bedding
Everything here is the grown-up version of what we sew for the nursery. Bed skirts, euro shams, pillow shams, and twin bedding, cut and sewn by hand in our Alabama studio from the same 100% washed cotton we have used on crib bedding for years. Because the cotton is pre-washed before it is ever cut, it hangs in soft folds instead of standing stiff off the frame, and it settles further with every wash. Free shipping on all orders.

How do the pieces go together? Start with the skirt, because it sets the style. A farmhouse skirt has full gathers and a plain turned hem; a ruffled skirt finishes those same gathers with a ruffle along the bottom. Then match the shams — ruffled shams layer with a ruffled skirt, tailored shams keep a farmhouse skirt quiet. Because every piece is cut from the same washed cotton in the same colors, they read as one bed rather than three separate purchases.
What drop length do you need? Measure from the floor to the top of your box spring or platform. Most standard beds come in around 16 inches, so our 20- and 22-inch drops are cut long on purpose — the hem settles onto the floor in a soft pool rather than stopping short of it, the way our crib skirts have always hung. If you would rather it graze the floor cleanly, or you have a daybed, a captain's bed, a platform with no foundation, or an antique frame, leave your measurement in the note field at checkout and we will sew it to fit.
