What High Cotton Textile is

High Cotton Textile is an exclusive line of handmade nursery bedding and home textiles, sewn one piece at a time in our Alabama workshop studio.

Every crib skirt, rail cover, and bow is cut and stitched by hand using 100% washed cotton — the same quality you'd find in heirloom pieces passed down for generations. Nothing mass-produced. Nothing rushed.

We believe a nursery should feel like a love letter — soft, considered, and completely yours.

Where it comes from

High Cotton started the way most good things do — with a mother, a sewing machine, and a very specific vision for what a nursery should feel like.

My first son's bedding was made by my mother. She knew I wanted simple, sweet, and timeless — and she delivered exactly that. A few years later, she taught me to sew, and I never stopped.

Eight years and thousands of orders later, we still make everything the same way: by hand, in Alabama, one stitch at a time.

I've always been drawn to simple, classic things. Less is always more — especially in a nursery. My design philosophy hasn't changed since day one: sweet, timeless, and made to be kept.

"If you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life." My mother told me that. She also taught me everything I know about sewing.

I now have two sons who are my biggest helpers and my greatest inspiration. We have a small but mighty team here in our Alabama studio, and we pour genuine care into every single piece we send out.

I love helping customers design their dream nursery — matching fabrics to paint colors, figuring out what works with the rug, getting the details just right. Don't hesitate to reach out. It's genuinely my favorite part of the job.
