For the mama-to-be
Adding a piece takes one click. On any product page, choose your colors first, then tap Add to Your Babylist Registry. The color you selected travels with it — your registry will show the exact piece you picked, not a generic listing.
Register early. Most showers land six to eight weeks before a due date, and everything we make is sewn to order in 3–10 business days. That's comfortable timing, but adding pieces before invitations go out gives your guests the widest choice.
If you want something customized, leave a note. Monograms, a custom drop length, mini crib sizing, or a color combination that isn't a listed option — none of that travels through the registry button automatically. Open the item on Babylist and add a note with exactly what you want. Your gift-giver will see it, and so will we.
Not sure about a color yet? Order fabric swatches before you register. Washed cotton reads differently in nursery light than it does on a screen, and swatches are the surest way to avoid a piece that's almost right.

This piece is made after you order it. We don't hold inventory. Your gift is cut and sewn in our Alabama studio once the order comes through, which takes 3–10 business days. Shipping is free on every order.
Please don't change the color. She chose it deliberately, usually to match a crib, a wall color, or other nursery pieces already on their way. If the registry lists a specific colorway, order exactly that.
Check the registry note before you buy. If she asked for a monogram, a particular drop length, or mini crib sizing, that request lives in the note on her registry item — and it needs to be repeated in the notes field at our checkout, or we won't see it.
Going in with others? Babylist supports group gifting, which is how our larger bedding sets often get given — a few grandparents or a group of coworkers together.
Personalized pieces are final sale. Monogrammed and custom items can't be returned, which is another reason to order exactly what the registry says.

How long does a registry gift take to arrive?
Everything is made to order and typically ships within 3–10 business days, with free shipping. Most showers are six to eight weeks out, which is plenty of time.
Can I register for a monogrammed piece?
Yes, but add a note on your Babylist item saying exactly what you want embroidered — the button doesn't carry personalization automatically. Monogramming is $30 per piece, and personalized items are final sale.
Can I register for a custom size or a color that isn't listed?
Yes. Add the request as a note on your registry item, and ask your gift-giver to repeat it in the notes field at checkout. Most color changes are free.
What if a gift arrives and it isn't right?
For non-personalized pieces, email us within 14 days of delivery. Store credit is issued at the full amount with no restocking fee. If we made a mistake or there's a workmanship flaw, we'll fix it or remake it at no charge, no time limit.
Can several people go in on one gift?
Yes — Babylist supports group gifting, which is how many of our larger sets are given.
