Twin or toddler? Start here. This is the question we get most, and the two are not the same size. A toddler bed reuses the crib mattress you already have — roughly 28" x 52" — so bedding sold as toddler bedding is crib-sized. A twin bed uses a twin mattress, roughly 38" x 75". Everything on this page is twin. If your child went straight from the crib into a twin bed, you are in the right place. If they are in a toddler bed still using the crib mattress, our Crib Skirts are the size you need.
What drop length do you need? Measure from the top of your box spring to the floor. Our farmhouse twin bed skirts drop 20 inches and our ruffled twin bed skirts drop 22 inches, which suits most standard twin frames. A low platform bed, a captain's bed or a trundle usually wants a shorter drop — we can cut one to your measurement, just leave a note with your order. A twin bed skirt is also called a twin bedskirt or a twin dust ruffle; it is the same piece.
Standard sham or euro sham? A standard pillow sham is 26" x 20" and fits the pillow your child actually sleeps on. A euro sham is 26" x 26", square, and sits upright behind it. A twin bed usually takes one standard sham; add a euro if you want the layered look. Both close with a zipper, and pillow inserts are not included — browse them all in Pillow Shams.
