Returns & Exchanges
Because every piece is made to order by hand in our Alabama studio, please review our policies carefully before reaching out. We're always happy to help.
Cancellations
Cancellations may only be requested within 1 hour of purchase. We are unable to make any pricing adjustments once an order has been placed.
There is a 25% processing fee applied to all eligible cancellations.
The following are final sale and cannot be cancelled:
- Fabric by the Yard
- Fabric Swatch Samples
Promo Codes & Store Credit
All promo codes, gift cards, and store credit must be applied at the time of order placement. We are unable to adjust or apply discounts to an order after it has been placed.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns and exchanges may only be requested within 3 days of the marked delivery date. Items must be shipped back within 10 days of delivery.
Return and exchange shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. High Cotton Textile is not liable for items damaged or lost in transit.
The following are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange:
- Custom orders — including custom colors, custom lengths, or any other customizations or changes from the original product listing
- Personalized or monogrammed items
- Gift cards
- Fabric Swatch Samples
- Fabric by the Yard
After your return request is reviewed, you will receive a Return Authorization Number (RMA). This number must be written on the outside of the package. Items must be received back at our studio within 10 days of receiving your RMA.
We are unable to accept returns on any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged, or is missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original payment method. Please allow a few business days for this to reflect on your statement.
If you haven't received your refund:
- First, check your bank account — it may already be there
- Contact your credit card company; posting can take a few business days
- Contact your bank directly, as processing times vary
- If you've completed all of the above and still haven't received it, please email us at customercare@highcottontextile.com
Sale Items
Only regular-priced items are eligible for return or refund. Sale items are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded.
Gifts
If an item was marked as a gift at the time of purchase and shipped directly to you, you will receive store credit in the value of the return once the item is received. A gift certificate will be emailed to you.
If the item was not marked as a gift at purchase, or if the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves first, we can either issue store credit or send a refund to the original purchaser.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable — if a refund is issued, the original cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund total.
We only accept returns shipped via UPS Ground with insurance. High Cotton Textile is not responsible for items that are damaged or lost in transit.
Depending on your location, estimated transit times for exchanged items may vary.
