Ivory Scalloped Crib Rail Cover & Farmhouse Skirt Set
Handmade to order in Alabama, safe-sleep compliant and gift-ready. Any color or size can be changed.
Color and fabric changes are always free. A longer length or larger size may cost a little more, and we'll email you before we start sewing.
We'll handwrite your message on a card and tuck it in the box.
Pairs Well With
The ivory scalloped rail cover, paired with the skirt it was always meant to sit above. One long scalloped cover across the front rail and a full farmhouse skirt to the floor — two pieces, all in our soft ivory, and the crib looks finished.
The scallops are what make this rail cover. Instead of a straight edge, the hem dips in soft curves along the rail, each one finished with a small gathered ruffle and tied to the spindles with slim ivory ties. Below the mattress, the skirt gathers on all four sides and falls to the floor. Ivory on ivory keeps it quiet and warm, which is why it looks just as right on an antique iron crib as on a painted spindle one.
What's Included:
- (1) ivory scalloped crib rail cover for the long front rail — gathered ruffle along the scalloped hem, softly filled with quilt batting, slim ivory ties; optional monogram
- (1) four-sided ivory farmhouse crib skirt — gathered all the way around with split corners, 20-inch finished drop, fits a standard crib mattress
Details:
- 100% pre-washed cotton — soft from the first night, machine washable
- Monogramming is stitched on the rail cover
- Any color can be changed; mini crib sizing available — add a special request under Add to Cart
- Handmade to order in Alabama
Fits:
- Standard and convertible cribs, including antique iron and Jenny Lind spindle styles
- The rail cover rests over the top rail of the crib only. It does not go inside the crib and does not cover the crib sides, slats, or interior openings
- The skirt sits beneath the mattress and falls outside the crib
Good to Know:
- Ivory is a warm cream, not a bright white — it sits beautifully beside antique iron, natural wood and unbleached linen
- Want the bows too? The same set comes with two large ivory crib bows for the front posts
- Covering all four sides? Our ivory scalloped short-side rail covers match this cover exactly
- Shoppers search for this as ivory crib bedding, a cream crib rail cover and skirt set, or two piece crib bedding — all the same thing
Coordinates With:
- This set with two large ivory bows — sashes tied to the front posts
- Ivory fitted crib sheet — the same warm ivory, for the mattress
- Ivory scalloped short-side rail cover — for the ends of the crib
- The full ivory scalloped set — all three rail covers, the skirt and a crib sheet
- Ivory farmhouse nursery curtains — the same ivory cotton at the windows
Made to Order: Sewn when you order, in our Alabama studio.
A standard crib mattress is 28" × 52", and our pieces are cut to match it — 52" long rail covers, 28" short rail covers, and fitted sheets sized to that mattress. If your crib takes a standard mattress, no measuring is needed.
Crib skirt drops — farmhouse skirts are 20", ruffled skirts are 22". To find your drop, measure from just under the mattress support straight down toward the floor. Want a shorter drop? Tap Add a special request under the Add to Cart button, tell us your measurement, and we'll make it to that at no extra charge.
Rail cover drape — approximately 20" down each side of the rail, inside and out.
Mini cribs — sheets fit a 24" × 38" mattress, and most pieces can be made in mini sizing on request. Shop mini crib bedding →
Antique, imported, or non-standard crib? Send us your measurements — everything is cut to order.
Every piece is made from 100% cotton sourced from American mills — no synthetic blends, no flame-retardant treatments, no chemical finishes.
Pre-washed before we cut. Every yard is washed and dried in our studio before a single piece is cut, so your bedding arrives already soft and won't shrink on you at home. That relaxed, lived-in texture is the washed cotton at work — and it irons or steams to a crisp finish if you prefer that look.
Washing — machine wash cold on gentle, separately. Skip bleach and fabric softener; both break down natural cotton over time.
Drying — tumble dry on medium, separately. A quick toss in the dryer is the easiest way to release wrinkles between uses.
Ironing — optional, on medium heat. Avoid starch sprays. A handheld steamer works well too.
Every piece is sewn to order in our Alabama studio, so nearly every detail can be changed.
Color changes — swap any color on any product: ruffles, cording, accents, bows, ties, or the body of the piece itself. Mix and match across a set however you like. Color and fabric changes are always free of charge.
Monograms and personalization — add initials, a name, or a meaningful date, with your choice of font and thread color. $30 per piece.
Style and sizing — prefer a tailored look without ruffles? Need mini crib sizing? Both are available on request.
