This one started in our own nursery. When my two boys were babies, a handmade wooden tray sat on top of their long dresser and held the changing pad, and it's still in the family today. My oldest, Grayson, asked us to start making them for your nursery too.

Set on a dresser, it gives the changing pad a finished, furniture look instead of foam sitting on bare wood. Choose it stained, or painted White, Ivory or Baby Pink to match your bedding.

Details:

  • Solid wood, built by hand
  • Finishes: Stained, White, Ivory or Baby Pink
  • Holds a standard contoured changing pad (about 16" x 32")
  • Changing pad and cover sold separately

Good to Know:

  • Also called a changing tray, dresser changing topper or changing station
  • Center it on a sturdy dresser with room on every side
  • Always use your changing pad's safety strap, and never leave baby unattended on any changing surface

Made to Order: Built by hand when you order, here in Alabama.

A standard crib mattress is 28" × 52", and our pieces are cut to match it — 52" long rail covers, 28" short rail covers, and fitted sheets sized to that mattress. If your crib takes a standard mattress, no measuring is needed.

Crib skirt drops — farmhouse skirts are 20", ruffled skirts are 22". To find your drop, measure from just under the mattress support straight down toward the floor. Want a shorter drop? Tap Add a special request under the Add to Cart button, tell us your measurement, and we'll make it to that at no extra charge.

Rail cover drape — approximately 20" down each side of the rail, inside and out.

Mini cribs — sheets fit a 24" × 38" mattress, and most pieces can be made in mini sizing on request. Shop mini crib bedding →

Every piece is made from 100% cotton sourced from American mills — no synthetic blends, no flame-retardant treatments, no chemical finishes.

Pre-washed before we cut. Every yard is washed and dried in our studio before a single piece is cut, so your bedding arrives already soft and won't shrink on you at home. That relaxed, lived-in texture is the washed cotton at work — and it irons or steams to a crisp finish if you prefer that look.

Washing — machine wash cold on gentle, separately. Skip bleach and fabric softener; both break down natural cotton over time.

Drying — tumble dry on medium, separately. A quick toss in the dryer is the easiest way to release wrinkles between uses.

Ironing — optional, on medium heat. Avoid starch sprays. A handheld steamer works well too.

Every piece is sewn to order in our Alabama studio, so nearly every detail can be changed.

Color changes — swap any color on any product: ruffles, cording, accents, bows, ties, or the body of the piece itself. Mix and match across a set however you like. Color and fabric changes are always free of charge.

Monograms and personalization — add initials, a name, or a meaningful date, with your choice of font and thread color. $30 per piece.

Style and sizing — prefer a tailored look without ruffles? Need mini crib sizing? Both are available on request.

How to order: tap Add a special request under the Add to Cart button and tell us what you'd like before you check out. Buying a gift? Tick This is a gift and we'll handwrite your message on a card. Forgot? Email customercare@highcottontextile.com with your order number before we begin sewing.

Not sure about a color? We always recommend ordering swatches first.
