A ticking skirt along the floor and two solid green sashes at the posts — the stripe stays quiet, the bows do the talking, and neither one touches the rail.
Fine pine green stripes run down a natural cotton ground, with a narrower stripe in the natural color set between them. The skirt is cut flat — pleated center panels on all four sides, split corners that wrap the crib legs, a 20-inch drop — which is the construction a stripe needs: gathers would break every line into a zigzag. The two sashes are solid cypress green, a clear saturated green against the softer ticking, and each arrives as a long length of fabric so you tie the size and fullness yourself.

Good to Know:
- Ticking goes by several names — ticking stripe, mattress stripe, French ticking, grain sack stripe — and a crib skirt goes by crib dust ruffle or crib bed skirt. Same pieces
- Cut flat rather than gathered because of the stripe: flat pleated panels keep every line running straight from the mattress to the floor
- Two greens on purpose — the ticking is a muted woven green against natural, and the sashes are a solid cypress green at full strength. The contrast is what keeps the crib from going flat
- The matching ticking rail cover is sold separately, and the cover and skirt are also offered together as a set
- The sashes work well outside the nursery — hospital door hangers, wreaths, curtain tie-backs and newborn photo props
- Green and natural reads gender neutral, at home in a woodland, botanical, hunting or midcentury modern nursery. It carries December without being a Christmas print, so it stays up all year

Made to Order: Sewn when you order, in our Alabama studio.
A standard crib mattress is 28" × 52", and our pieces are cut to match it — 52" long rail covers, 28" short rail covers, and fitted sheets sized to that mattress. If your crib takes a standard mattress, no measuring is needed.
Crib skirt drops — farmhouse skirts are 20", ruffled skirts are 22". To find your drop, measure from just under the mattress support straight down toward the floor. Want a different length? Tell us your measurement at checkout and we'll make it to that, at no extra charge.
Rail cover drape — approximately 20" down each side of the rail, inside and out.
Mini cribs — sheets fit a 24" × 38" mattress, and most pieces can be made in mini sizing on request.

Every piece is made from 100% cotton sourced from American mills — no synthetic blends, no flame-retardant treatments, no chemical finishes.
Pre-washed before we cut. Every yard is washed and dried in our studio before a single piece is cut, so your bedding arrives already soft and won't shrink on you at home. That relaxed, lived-in texture is the washed cotton at work — and it irons or steams to a crisp finish if you prefer that look.
Washing — machine wash cold on gentle, separately. Skip bleach and fabric softener; both break down natural cotton over time.
Drying — tumble dry on medium, separately. A quick toss in the dryer is the easiest way to release wrinkles between uses.
Ironing — optional, on medium heat. Avoid starch sprays. A handheld steamer works well too.
Every piece is sewn to order in our Alabama studio, so nearly every detail can be changed.
Color changes — swap any color on any product: ruffles, cording, accents, bows, ties, or the body of the piece itself. Mix and match across a set however you like. Most color changes are free of charge.
Monograms and personalization — add initials, a name, or a meaningful date, with your choice of font and thread color. $30 per piece.
Style and sizing — prefer a tailored look without ruffles? Need mini crib sizing? Both are available on request.
