White & Cypress Green Stripe Tailored Crib Rail Cover
Sewn to order in our Alabama studio — nearly any color, size, or detail can be changed, most at no extra charge. Don't see what you need as an option? Leave a note at checkout: a different color, a different skirt drop, or mini crib sizing.
Pairs Well With
Just the rail cover — a green stripe painted across slubby white cotton, cut and sewn by hand in our Alabama studio.
Flat structured panels rather than ruffles, finished edge to edge in fine white cording, with slim white ties that slip between the spindles and all but disappear. The stripe itself is irregular: narrow cypress green bands with a brushy, wavering edge, spaced wide across a textured white ground, so it reads drawn rather than printed. On a white crib it does the work of a pattern without the weight of one — and the open white between the stripes is exactly where a monogram goes.
Details:
- Cypress green and white stripe on textured cotton, with white cording trim and white fabric ties
- Tailored construction — flat structured panels, no ruffle or gather
- Covers one long crib rail; crib skirt and bows sold separately
- Optional custom monogram, stitched on the rail cover itself; any color can be changed — leave a note at checkout
- 100% cotton — soft, breathable, machine washable
- Handmade to order in Alabama
Good to Know:
- Cypress Green Stripe is our name for this green-and-white stripe. The green matches our solid Cypress Green pieces, so the two mix freely. It is not the same green as our Pine Green Gingham, which is a check
- Monogramming goes on the rail cover, centered in the white between the stripes — the piece at eye level, and the one people actually see
- This listing is the rail cover on its own. It is also sold with the matching white farmhouse crib skirt, with or without two large white bows
- Tailored means flat structured panels; our Ruffled, Scalloped and Farmhouse rail covers are the same fit in a different edge treatment
- A green and white stripe reads genuinely gender neutral, and carries a cottage, garden, grandmillennial or Christmas nursery equally well
Coordinates With:
- This rail cover with the matching white farmhouse crib skirt
- The same pairing with two large white bows
- The same rail cover in solid cypress green
- The same rail cover in solid white
- White fitted crib sheet — the sheet shown here
Fits: The crib rail cover rests over the top rail of the crib only. It does not go inside the crib and does not cover the crib sides, slats, or interior openings. Made for a standard crib's long rail; leave a note at checkout for a mini crib or a short-side cover.
Made to Order: Sewn when you order, in our Alabama studio.
A standard crib mattress is 28" × 52", and our pieces are cut to match it — 52" long rail covers, 28" short rail covers, and fitted sheets sized to that mattress. If your crib takes a standard mattress, no measuring is needed.
Crib skirt drops — farmhouse skirts are 20", ruffled skirts are 22". To find your drop, measure from just under the mattress support straight down toward the floor. Want a different length? Tell us your measurement at checkout and we'll make it to that, at no extra charge.
Rail cover drape — approximately 20" down each side of the rail, inside and out.
Mini cribs — sheets fit a 24" × 38" mattress, and most pieces can be made in mini sizing on request.
Antique, imported, or non-standard crib? Send us your measurements — everything is cut to order.
Every piece is made from 100% cotton sourced from American mills — no synthetic blends, no flame-retardant treatments, no chemical finishes.
Pre-washed before we cut. Every yard is washed and dried in our studio before a single piece is cut, so your bedding arrives already soft and won't shrink on you at home. That relaxed, lived-in texture is the washed cotton at work — and it irons or steams to a crisp finish if you prefer that look.
Washing — machine wash cold on gentle, separately. Skip bleach and fabric softener; both break down natural cotton over time.
Drying — tumble dry on medium, separately. A quick toss in the dryer is the easiest way to release wrinkles between uses.
Ironing — optional, on medium heat. Avoid starch sprays. A handheld steamer works well too.
Every piece is sewn to order in our Alabama studio, so nearly every detail can be changed.
Color changes — swap any color on any product: ruffles, cording, accents, bows, ties, or the body of the piece itself. Mix and match across a set however you like. Most color changes are free of charge.
Monograms and personalization — add initials, a name, or a meaningful date, with your choice of font and thread color. $30 per piece.
Style and sizing — prefer a tailored look without ruffles? Need mini crib sizing? Both are available on request.
How to order: add your pieces to the cart, then leave your requests in the notes field at checkout. Forgot? Email customercare@highcottontextile.com with your order number before we begin sewing.
Not sure about a color? We always recommend ordering swatches first.
