White & Cypress Green Stripe Tailored Crib Skirt & 2 Cypress Green Bows Set
Sewn to order in our Alabama studio — nearly any color, size, or detail can be changed, most at no extra charge. Don't see what you need as an option? Leave a note at checkout: a different color, a different skirt drop, or mini crib sizing.
Pairs Well With
A striped skirt at the floor and two green sashes at the posts — enough to change the whole look of a crib without touching the rail.
Narrow cypress green bands, brushed on with a wavering edge, run the full 20-inch drop across a slubby white ground. The skirt is cut flat — pleated center panels, split corners that wrap cleanly around the crib legs — so the stripes stay vertical and unbroken instead of disappearing into gathers. The two sashes are solid cypress green, the same green as the stripe at full strength, and each arrives as a long length of fabric so you tie the size and fullness yourself.
What's Included:
- (1) four-sided tailored crib skirt in cypress green and white stripe — pleated center panels, split corners, 20-inch finished drop, fits a standard crib mattress
- (2) large cypress green bows — each arrives as a long sash you tie to your preferred size and fullness
Details:
- 100% washed cotton — soft, breathable, machine washable
- Tailored skirt construction — pleated center panels on all four sides, split corners that wrap around the crib legs, not gathered
- The skirt deck lays flat between the mattress and the platform, so it stays put through a 2am sheet change
- Bows are solid cypress green, not striped
- Fits a standard convertible crib, including Jenny Lind and turned-spindle styles
- Any color can be changed; mini crib sizing and custom drops available — leave a note at checkout
- Handmade to order in Alabama
Good to Know:
- A crib skirt goes by several names — crib dust ruffle, crib bed skirt, nursery bed skirt — and this is that piece
- Cut flat rather than in our gathered farmhouse style: flat panels keep a stripe running straight, where gathers would break it into zigzags
- A matching striped rail cover is sold separately, and the two are also offered together as a three-piece set
- The sashes work well outside the nursery — hospital door hangers, wreaths, curtain tie-backs and newborn photo props
- Green and white reads gender neutral and suits a cottage, garden or grandmillennial nursery. It carries through December without being a Christmas print, so it stays up all year
Coordinates With:
- The matching striped tailored rail cover — add it and the crib is finished top to floor
- White farmhouse nursery curtains — plain white at the windows keeps the stripe the only pattern in the room
- White blackout nursery curtains — the same white with the blackout sewn inside, for naps
- The striped skirt on its own, without sashes
- This skirt and bows with the striped rail cover — the full three-piece set
- The rail cover and striped skirt as a two-piece set
- Cypress green large crib bow — add a third and fourth for the back posts
- White fitted crib sheet — the crisp white base shown in every photo
- Green Crib Bedding — everything in the green family
Made to Order: Sewn when you order, in our Alabama studio.
A standard crib mattress is 28" × 52", and our pieces are cut to match it — 52" long rail covers, 28" short rail covers, and fitted sheets sized to that mattress. If your crib takes a standard mattress, no measuring is needed.
Crib skirt drops — farmhouse skirts are 20", ruffled skirts are 22". To find your drop, measure from just under the mattress support straight down toward the floor. Want a different length? Tell us your measurement at checkout and we'll make it to that, at no extra charge.
Rail cover drape — approximately 20" down each side of the rail, inside and out.
Mini cribs — sheets fit a 24" × 38" mattress, and most pieces can be made in mini sizing on request.
Antique, imported, or non-standard crib? Send us your measurements — everything is cut to order.
Every piece is made from 100% cotton sourced from American mills — no synthetic blends, no flame-retardant treatments, no chemical finishes.
Pre-washed before we cut. Every yard is washed and dried in our studio before a single piece is cut, so your bedding arrives already soft and won't shrink on you at home. That relaxed, lived-in texture is the washed cotton at work — and it irons or steams to a crisp finish if you prefer that look.
Washing — machine wash cold on gentle, separately. Skip bleach and fabric softener; both break down natural cotton over time.
Drying — tumble dry on medium, separately. A quick toss in the dryer is the easiest way to release wrinkles between uses.
Ironing — optional, on medium heat. Avoid starch sprays. A handheld steamer works well too.
Every piece is sewn to order in our Alabama studio, so nearly every detail can be changed.
Color changes — swap any color on any product: ruffles, cording, accents, bows, ties, or the body of the piece itself. Mix and match across a set however you like. Most color changes are free of charge.
Monograms and personalization — add initials, a name, or a meaningful date, with your choice of font and thread color. $30 per piece.
Style and sizing — prefer a tailored look without ruffles? Need mini crib sizing? Both are available on request.
How to order: add your pieces to the cart, then leave your requests in the notes field at checkout. Forgot? Email customercare@highcottontextile.com with your order number before we begin sewing.
